At dawn, we begin lovingly to fill your breakfast basket. Delicious, regional produce is freshly prepared for you – from sliced bread and homemade juices to the finest local cheeses. As soon as the tempting aroma wafts through the chalet village, our guests know: the breakfast basket will be here soon – and they know exactly where it comes from.
Our most aromatic cheese
Our cheese comes straight from the neighbouring village, from the Anderlbauer farm. It is made in their own farm cheese dairy, guaranteeing the very best quality and a distinctive flavour.

Our best bread.
Our baker, Irmi, has her very own special recipe for sourdough bread. It requires real craftsmanship, and as she says: ‘Good things take time.’ This is evident in the bread’s distinctive flavour – a crisp crust and a moist crumb.

South Tyrolean specialities from dear friends
The Berggut is a special place in Aschau – run by dear friends who have their roots in South Tyrol and bring that very same way of life with them.
With a keen eye for quality and provenance, they bring a piece of their homeland to us here in the Chiemgau: excellent sausage and cheese specialities, which we source for our breakfast and snack platters, as well as fine oils, selected wines and lovingly curated treats to take away.
